The earliest 20 or so comments are all from accounts with generic all-lowercase firstlast Western names, some misspelled (“davidvest” “baryhouston”). And all the comments consist of bizarrely nonspecific, sometimes inappropriate short remarks (“looks kinda interesting,ill have to download the first season.” says joefright. That is not a human response to a Youtube video of a sketch from last week’s Saturday Night Live.)
Click through to any of the twenty spammy-smelling accounts; each profile consists of nothing more than the three same favorited videos. And those three favorited videos are… the three parts of a cut-up-for-Youtube episode of the Graham Norton show, featuring Matt LeBlanc as a guest.
Did someone write a script to build up some sockpuppets for later use? Is this evidence of angels intervening in human affairs?
