Earlier today at our orphan thanksgiving at my mom’s apartment in Berkeley, I tried to tweet this photo of the television as part of my #thanksgivingdogshow livetweet session. My phone didn’t feel like sending it to Twitter. Maybe it wanted to keep it for itself. Anyway, about ten of our friends and friend-of-friends came over and brought a cornucopia of food and we ate it and watched one episode of Carpool Showdown, one episode of classic Dance Party (a ’70s-themed episode from 1991), and three episodes of modern Dance Party (which has done an admirable job of retaining the dancer diversity that made the original Dance Party so great). It was all fantastic.
